Afghan Peace-Builders
Humanitarian Organization
Afghan Peace-Builders Humanitarian Organization APBHO was established in April 2019 by a group of Afghan youth advocates for the rights of Afghan people especially children and women who are the main victims of the prolonged conflicts and droughts.
APBHO AT A GLANCE
APBHO, established in April 2019 by a collective of impassioned Afghan youth advocates, arose with
a solemn mission: to respond to the pressing needs of Afghan communities ensnared in profound
humanitarian crises. As a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit entity, APBHO stands
resolutely committed to championing the intrinsic rights of marginalized populations, notably
children and women residing in remote villages, who have borne the disproportionate burdens of
entrenched social disparities, gender-based violence, and the enduring scars of Afghanistan's
protracted civil strife.
Functioning as an independent, neutral, and impartial humanitarian agency, APBHO has meticulously
crafted a comprehensive, enduring strategy. Its overarching aim? To perpetuate unfettered access to
vital services for Afghan communities, with a specific focus on safeguarding the well-being of
children. At the heart of its operational ethos lies a steadfast adherence to the "Do No Harm
Principle" and the foundational tenets of humanitarianism, which serve as guiding beacons
illuminating its endeavors in relief and resilience-building.
“Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice.”
-Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, first president of South Africa
